Pt 2

Hey Reader,

If you took a peek inside my chats in ChatGPT, you’ve probably noticed that I say some version of this approximately once a day:

“Can we add this somewhere so we don’t lose track of it?”

That “somewhere” is usually Airtable.

Airtable is the second software tool my business genuinely can’t live without because it acts as the memory for my business when my own working memory has reached capacity 😂

It holds my:

  • Email drafts and story ideas
  • Content and launch plans
  • The Systems Library workflows
  • Projects and task lists
  • Client command centers
  • Funnel links and assets
  • Approximately one million tiny details that Future Angela will eventually need

And because everything has a designated place, I can pull it back up when it becomes relevant instead of relying on myself to remember where I originally wrote it down.

For example, I can ask:

What email am I supposed to send next?

What did my client and I decide about that project?

Did I already have a content idea about this?

What should I focus on today?

Then ChatGPT can search the information I’ve stored in Airtable and give me an answer based on what I’ve already planned.

I can also say, “Please add this to my Story Ideas Bank,” in the middle of a completely unrelated conversation and keep moving without opening Airtable, finding the right base, finding the right table, and filling out every field myself.

This is especially helpful for my ADHD brain because ideas rarely arrive while I’m sitting in front of the exact database where they belong.

They arrive while I’m writing another email, working on a client project, folding laundry, or trying to solve an entirely different problem.

Airtable gives those ideas and decisions somewhere to live until I’m ready for them.

That is why it earns its place in my software budget.

I recorded a behind-the-scenes tour so you can see what I keep inside Airtable and how I’ve turned it into a searchable source of truth for my business:

And the best part is that most of the ways I use Airtable can be done on its free plan. If you don’t have an account yet, you can start building your own business memory bank here:

That’s my affiliate link, which means I may earn a commission if you eventually choose a paid plan, at no additional cost to you.

After you watch, hit reply and tell me: What information do you constantly find yourself hunting for in your business?

Next, I’ll show you the software responsible for making sure the right people receive the right emails after they subscribe, click, buy, or raise their hand.

With love,
Angela

P.S. If you want to see the Airtable-related workflows I’ve shared inside The Systems Library, you can join for $15/month here before the price increases to $27/month on August 12. The price is increasing because I’m adding live monthly Q&A calls and guided co-working sessions, but if you join before then, you’ll keep the $15/month rate for as long as you remain a member.

Spoiler alert: You can even submit a “How can I use Airtable in my business?” consult through the TSL Workflows tab, and I’ll help you figure out where Airtable could make the biggest difference in your business.

P.P.S. I’m also building a brand-new member portal that will let you filter the Library by the tools you use, so all the Airtable-related workflows will be easy to find in one place. You can take a peek here.

Hi! I'm Angela.

I'm obsessed with setting up tech like a 24/7 butler for your leads and clients, always one step ahead of them, because you work too hard to lose money to a "meh" customer journey. I'm an oversharer and a terrible gatekeeper, so my emails are where I share all my systems secrets.
